About
Business support that works around you.
Field & File Studio helps small business owners stay organised, improve the way they work and present their business professionally, with support across administration, systems, documents, branding and websites.
How it works
A flexible way to work.
Field & File Studio gives small businesses extra support when they need it, without the commitment of adding another employee.
You might have one job that needs sorting, a list of things that never quite gets finished, or regular work that would be better in someone else’s hands. I can step in for a few hours, take ownership of a particular project, or provide ongoing support each month.
The work can be straightforward administration or something that needs a little more thought: improving a spreadsheet, organising a process, creating professional documents, putting together business materials or getting a website finished and working properly.
The idea is simple: use the support you need, when you need it.

The founder
Hello, my name is Alexis.
I’m the person behind Field & File Studio.
I’ve spent years working in and around small businesses, and I know how much time disappears into the work that sits behind the actual business: keeping information organised, chasing loose ends, making documents presentable, working out better ways of doing things and getting jobs over the finish line.
That is the side of business I naturally enjoy.
I’m good at looking at what is already there, working out what needs attention and getting on with it. Sometimes that means tidying and improving something you already use. Sometimes it means starting again and building something that works better.
When you work with Field & File, you work directly with me. I’ll get to know your business, understand how you like things done and take care of the detail without making the process more complicated than it needs to be.
